The ALCAD DE-405 is a professional 4-way shielded tap-off designed for terrestrial TV, CATV, MATV, SMATV, and satellite IF distribution systems. Operating across a wide 5–2300 MHz frequency range, it distributes a controlled portion of the incoming signal to four tap outputs while allowing the remaining signal to continue through the main distribution line.
Featuring 20dB tap attenuation, the DE-405 is ideal for tree-structured (arborescent) television distribution networks where higher tap attenuation is required to maintain balanced signal levels across multiple outlets. The tap outputs provide a flat frequency response without equalization, ensuring consistent signal quality for both terrestrial and satellite services.
Manufactured with a shielded zamak metal chassis, integrated F-type connectors, and protection diodes on all outputs, the DE-405 offers outstanding shielding, durability, and protection against electrical surges, making it an excellent choice for demanding residential, commercial, and hospitality installations.
