The ALCAD DE-801 is a professional 8-way shielded tap-off unit designed for CATV, MATV, SMATV, and Satellite IF distribution systems. Operating across a wide 5–2300 MHz frequency range, it enables efficient signal distribution by directing a controlled portion of the incoming signal to eight tap outputs while allowing the remaining signal to continue through the main line.
With a 16dB tap attenuation, the DE-801 provides stable and balanced signal levels across connected outlets. Its fully shielded metal housing minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMI), ensuring reliable performance in residential, commercial, hospitality, and multi-dwelling television distribution networks.
